Standards
Editorial Policy
- Jurisdiction, school assignments, builder pricing, completion dates, and market figures require human verification against official sources.
- Historical sales are labeled by status: closed, pending, under contract, active, proposed, or vacant land.
- We don't publish fabricated listings, testimonials, projects, or ratings.
- Images are labeled as illustrative or as photographs, and renderings are always identified.
- Affiliated businesses are disclosed as affiliated.
- We avoid demographic steering and unsupported superlatives.
Our standards in practice
Sourcing
We rely on official sources wherever possible: Union County GIS for parcels and jurisdiction, Union County Public Schools for assignment, the Village of Wesley Chapel and Union County for planning and permits, and recorded documents for covenants. Where we cannot verify a fact, we mark it "Not verified" or "Property-specific" rather than guessing.
No invented details
We do not publish invented listings, prices, statistics, school assignments, or project claims. Images are illustrative unless captioned otherwise.
Corrections and updates
When we find or are told about an error, we verify it, correct the article, and update its date. Weekly journal articles follow the same standards.
Readers can flag a possible error through our contact page. Please include the page address and the source that supports the correction so we can verify it quickly.
